Hello there!

Storytelling has always been special to me; a book, an illustration, a photograph, or a tall tale told by Grandma.  I want my readers to gain something from exploring my creations, whether it be a laugh or feeling of comfort, and reach for them night after night.  I’m inspired by “The Old West”, 50’s nostalgia, and southern expressions.  ​

I hold a bachelor’s in art education, taught kiddos for a few years, dove into the corporate art world, and am now seeking to emerge in the wonderful world of picture books!   I hail from the South but reside in the prairielands of Oklahoma with my family.  You can find me drawing, dreaming up a story, or going broke at the garden center!
